Millions of fans around the world were quite envious today, as during a major awards show, someone got to grab Shawn Mendes’ butt. And turns out, it wasn’t just any someone – it was a very popular singer…
Shawn Mendes, the super popular 18-year-old Canadian singer, was performing at the IHeartRadio music awards ceremony last night (where he was also nominated for three awards) and right before the show, on the red carpet, he was interviewed on Facebook Live.
During the interview, a confused Shawn suddenly said – “Someone was just touching my butt.”
Shawn then turned around, and discovered the guilty party – no, it was not Justin Bieber (a fellow Canadian singer who was once moved by Shawn), but American singer Katy Perry.
“Oh, it’s Katy Perry who was touching my butt”, Shawn said, “I should have turned around”. Then he also confessed to being a big Katy Perry fan, though they’ve never met before.
