What better way to celebrate Jonathan Rhys Meyers‘ birthday, than to look at the times he was wearing his birthday suit on our screens? So here it is, courtesy of our friends at Mr. Man (NSFW LINK!)
Cooler than an Irish spring and hotter than a hot Irish potato, delicious Dubliner Jonathan Rhys Meyers celebrates 41-years today. With those youthful good looks, we would have never guessed.
Bad-boy Jonathan was kicked out of high school at the age of 16. He started spending his time in pool halls where he was discovered by casting agents and encouraged to go into acting. (Check out Jonathan and more Male Celebs Nude and Exposed in this playlist.)
In 1994 he got his first role in the comedy-drama A Man of No Importance. He went on to appear alongside Colin Farrell in Alexander (2004) and opposite Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible III. Hottie overload!
His finest hour came when Jonathan was cast in the skin-filled Showtime drama The Tudors as wife-beheading King Henry VIII.

Later, we also got to see Jonathan as a gay activist who falls in love with British actor Jeremy Irvine, in the Roland Emmerich’s Stonewall film, where he “really took charge of the gay sex scenes” with Irvine.
Last year, Jonathan returned to times of old in Season 5 of The Vikings. We can’t wait to see more of him!
